Is all 104 MB 3D V-Cache?
No. The total combines 8 MB of L2 cache and 96 MB of L3 cache. The processor includes AMD 3D V-Cache technology; 104 MB is not the size of the stacked cache alone.
Does it work with an AM4 board or DDR4 memory?
No. This processor requires an AM5 socket and DDR5 memory. Before buying, check your motherboard manufacturer’s CPU support list for the Ryzen 7 9850X3D and the required BIOS version.
Is a cooler included?
A cooler is not included. AMD recommends liquid cooling for optimal performance. Check AM5 mounting compatibility, case clearance and the thermal capacity of your chosen solution.
Do I need a dedicated graphics card?
It includes AMD Radeon integrated graphics for display output and basic tasks. For a system built for demanding games, choose a dedicated GPU suited to your monitor and the games you play.
